On a Sunny afternoon we suddenly saw a little boat on sea with 10 Algerian boys on board. They dared to cross over because they wanted to sail to Spain. They were already on sea for three days in burning sun. Fortunately they were all right.

After radio contact, the Spanish authorities’ told us they would send a life boat that would arrive in two hours. In the meanwhile we gave the boys some food and drinks and try to talk to the in our best French.

After two hours the life boat arrived and took care of the boys, so we could continue our trip to Ashdod, Israel.
